Blessing Bassey also known as Blessing-Dion Baci is a Visionary Nigerian Entrepreneur, Fashion designer, Consultant and Educator. She is the founder of Dion Baci limited . A fashion, beauty, and home goods company founded out of passion and desire for intricate timeless design , borne out of sheer interest for aesthetics and arts which emanated from her early childhood and influenced by her interest in the field of aesthetics and in a broad sense the philosophy of arts . Blessing Bassey hails from Itu Local government Area of Akwa Ibom state , she holds a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Uyo , Nigeria and a diploma in mass communication. She is also an educator and has trained aspiring fashion designers through Dion Baci fashion Academy. Blessing-Dion Baci launched Dion Baci Limited in 2017 during her National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) and further found her business prowess through participation in the Skills Acquisition & Entrepreneurship Department (SAED) program and has diversified and expanded into Dion Baci bridal and custom designing and in 2023 launched her debut bridal collection. In 2022, She launched Baci Baci, a diffusion brand focused on production of corporate , functional , evening dresses , casual and essential clothing which serves as a diffusion of the company and in 2024 , launched Dion Baci Man. As an educator, she opened the Dion Baci fashion academy and has trained fashion designers since 2019. In 2024, she was awarded one of the 100 most leading/trusted luxury brand of the year.
